Daily Grace ("we," "us," "our") is a devotional app offering Bible reading, prayer, journaling, and meditation tools. This policy explains what information we collect through the Daily Grace app and website, why, and the choices you have.
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo (when you sign in with Google or Apple), or an anonymous device identifier if you continue as a guest.
Content you create. Prayers, journal entries, reflections, saved verses, and reading progress you save in the app are stored so they're available across your devices. This content is private to your account unless you choose to share it — for example, posting to a Family Group's shared prayer wall makes that specific item visible to the other members of that group.
AI Prayer requests. If you use the AI-guided prayer feature, the text you enter is sent to our AI service provider to generate a response. Please avoid including sensitive personal details you wouldn't want processed by a third-party AI service.
Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We (via our subscription management provider) receive confirmation of your purchase and its status (active, expired, cancelled) — we never see or store your card details.
Usage and device information. We collect app-usage events (e.g. which features you open, whether a purchase flow was started) and technical/crash data to keep the app reliable. This is tied to an internal user ID and your subscription status, never to the content of your prayers or journal entries.
Notifications. If you enable reminders, we store a device push-notification token to deliver them.
We do not sell your personal information.
Daily Grace is built on the following service providers, each of which processes data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments:
If you join or create a Family Group, items you explicitly post to that group (such as shared prayer requests) are visible to other members of the same group. Your private journal, personal reflections, and anything not explicitly shared remain visible only to you.
We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated content from within the app's account settings at any time; this removes your personal content from our systems, subject to any copies retained temporarily in backups or as required by law.
Daily Grace is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the app, or by contacting us below.
We use industry-standard safeguards (including encryption in transit) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll provide additional notice in the app.
